In the majority of instances, cellular foams and rubbers offer very good surfaces for lamination of adhesives. Products such as Epdm foams, Neoprene foams, Nitrile foams and blended sponge products key extremely well to even the lowest coat weight of adhesive tape.
However foams such as PVC, Silicone and some of the more open cell Polyurethane foams require a little more specialization when converting them into tape products.
